What types of fish can you catch on Lake Texoma?
With Premier Guide Service, you'll target Striped Bass, Catfish (Blue and Channel), and Smallmouth Bass. These species are abundant in Lake Texoma and provide year-round action for all skill levels.
Do I need a fishing license for Lake Texoma?
Yes, all anglers age 17 and older are required to purchase a Lake Texoma fishing license, which is valid in both Texas and Oklahoma waters. You can buy it online or at most local sporting goods stores before your trip.
What’s included in a guided fishing trip with Premier Guide Service?
All necessary fishing gear and tackle are included, as well as artificial lures and bait when applicable. The boat is fully equipped with USCG-approved safety gear. Just bring your license, drinks, and any snacks you'd like!
How many people can join a trip?
Trips can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably aboard a custom-built 30’ center console boat powered by a 300HP Suzuki engine.
How long are the fishing trips?
We currently offer 4-hour guided fishing trips, ideal for families, first-timers, or anglers looking to get in solid fishing action without a full-day commitment.
What happens if we don’t catch any fish?
If you don’t catch fish, you don’t pay—it’s that simple. Captain Graysen stands behind his catch guarantee and always gives his full effort to find active fish.
When is the best time to fish on Lake Texoma?
Lake Texoma fishes well all year, but spring and fall are prime for Striper runs, while summer offers great Catfish action. Captain Graysen adjusts each trip to seasonal movements and weather.
Can kids come on the fishing trip?
Definitely! Our trips are family-friendly, and we love helping young anglers land their first Striper or Catfish. The boat is safe, stable, and perfect for families.
Where do trips launch from?
Trips usually launch from designated marinas on the Texas side of Lake Texoma. Captain Graysen will confirm the launch location after booking based on fish activity and water conditions.
